Background:
Main theme of the conference will be peer-to-peer support, which means that young people provide experience, emotional, social or practical help to their peers. We will focus on “emotional wellbeing and support” and on the social and psychological support ( listening , empathy, friendship) that young people give to each other starting from their needs, question, challenge, problem.
Participants:
The seminar is intended for youth workers and social workers, active members of youth organisations, researchers, policy markers, teachers, but is also open to everybody interested in the topic.
Dates:
From Thursday November 3rd at 13.00 till Friday November 4th in Antwerp.
Venue:
The Seminar will take place at the Den Bell-tower, Francis Wellesplein 1

Working language:
The working language of the Seminar is in general English. There might be also some (choise) workshops or discussion groups in Dutch, as we also will invite all kinds of Flemish stakeholders.
Costs:
Travel, accommodation and subsistence costs will not be covered by In Petto, but we can help you to reserve a room by giving a list of hotels in Antwerp.
